I am a Mechatronics Engineer and Systems Data Analyst who loves building things that work. I specialize in joining hardware with software, from building robotic prototypes to setting up data pipelines with Python and SQL. With my HSE certifications and a solid background in database management, I focus on using Industry 4.0 tech to solve real-world problems. I don’t just analyze data; I also understand the machines that create it.
My Background
I’m Richard A. Jegede, and I believe a system only truly works when you understand both the physical hardware and the data it produces. Growing up in Nigeria, life threw its hardest challenges at me early. Losing my parents at a young age could have broken my spirit, but I chose to use education as my weapon. I fought my way through The Polytechnic Ibadan to earn my Higher National Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering, specializing in the things that drive the future: Control Systems, Robotics, and Electrical Engineering. My time on the factory floor at Chivita Plc was a turning point. Mastering Siemens PLC systems and industrial safety (HSE) taught me how machines breathe. But I saw a gap, I realized that data is the pulse that makes those machines smart. I didn’t stop at my degree. I pushed myself to master Data Analysis and AI through intensive bootcamps and global certifications. Today, I am a Hybrid Engineer. I can troubleshoot a robotic arm, write clean SQL/Python code, and build Power BI dashboards that predict system failures before they happen. I’m not just looking for a paycheck; I’m on a mission to apply my grit and dual-expertise to improve productivity and drive growth. I’ve never given up on life, and I will never give up on finding the best solution for your team.
